Adala Edna

Edna Adala is an Advoc​ate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Secretary with extensive experience in providing legal, governance, company secretarial, compliance and board management services. She has been instrumental in designing and operationalizing the in-house legal function for new entities, developing compliance management systems for various companies, developing Company Policies, and entrenching good corporate governance practices for local and international  entities in both the public and private sectors especially from a risk management perspective. 

Edna has for the past 15 years played key roles as a lead advisor in various legal transaction involving corporate and commercial law, set up of compliance management systems, regulatory advisories, compliance assessments, development, and review of governance policies.
  

She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business Administration degrees from the  University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. 

She is qualified to practice as a Certified Pension Scheme Trustee, a Certified Secretary (CS) and Governance Auditor. Edna is a member of the Law Society and the Institute of Certified Secretaries in Kenya.
