Penninah Munyaka

Penninah Munyaka hold a Master of Business (MBA) degree from the University of Nairobi, in addition to an undergraduate law degree (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Birmingham in the UK.  Penninah has been a lawyer for over 17 years, with over 15 years as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. 

Penninah is well known in the profession and clients alike, as being among a handful of legal practitioners in the country with renewable energy and mergers and acquisition expertise. She has widely advised and acted for a number of local and multi-national corporations in cross-border M&A transactions, Project Finance, Joint Ventures and Renewable Energy projects. Her strong client focus and client centricity has earned her a coveted role as a trusted advisor to many of her clients who can rely on her not only for strategic advice but also for precise execution. 

Penninah has interacted with boards of both private and public corporations serving both local and international markets. She has advised and guided boards on the best approach to be adopted in transactions.
